Dr. Cathy Wiltshire
Dr. Cathy Wiltshire is a dedicated orthodontist whose path to dentistry reflects her passion, perseverance, and deep commitment to serving others. Born in Queens, New York, and proudly connected to her Caribbean heritage through her family from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Wiltshire brings warmth, cultural richness, and genuine compassion to her practice. She strives to ensure every patient feels welcomed, understood, and treated like family.
Dr. Wiltshire began her academic journey at Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a concentration in Pre-Med/Dentistry. Her love for science, language, and connection with people helped shape her patient-centered philosophy that continues to guide her today.
After being accepted into dental school, Dr. Wiltshire moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to attend Meharry Medical College, where she earned her Doctorate in Dentistry. Through four years of rigorous study, leadership, and hard work, she graduated at the top of her class, earning acceptance into a highly competitive postgraduate residency program.
She continued her training at Howard University, completing a residency in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Development. After two additional years of advanced study, hands-on clinical experience, and research, Dr. Wiltshire earned her specialty degree—equipping her with the expertise to treat a wide range of orthodontic needs with precision and care.
Dr. Wiltshire is committed to staying at the forefront of the profession and holds active memberships in several leading organizations, including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. These affiliations reflect her dedication to ongoing education, clinical excellence, and the highest standards of patient care.
Beyond her extensive training and professional involvement, Dr. Wiltshire is deeply passionate about giving back. She remains active in community service initiatives and leads a mentorship and internship program for high school and college students interested in exploring careers in dentistry. Guiding the next generation of dental professionals is one of her greatest joys.
